The event launched two months ago, and if your idea of a jumble sale is piles of old jumpers in a cold village hall then you'll be in for a nice surprise. The brainchild of Willow, Jacquilina and Rosalia, three industry insiders with their fingers well and truly on the fashion pulse, this is fast becoming the go-to event for the hip and cool on a budget. The venue is Islington's latest must-visit pub, the Albert & Pearl, and while you're sifting through the latest crop of designer pieces and vintage gems you can listen to whatever the guest DJs have to offer and sip cocktails - not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Choose from labels such as A.P.C., Vivienne Westwood, Sonia Rykiel and Gucci, as well as high-street brands like Adidas, Ben Sherman and Boxfresh, plus an eclectic selection of homeware for good measure.
The next event is set to take place this Saturday 6th December from 12pm-5pm, and as it's so close to Christmas the team will be offering free mince pies with every pot of tea ordered. If you can't make it this weekend, Jumble & Pearls will be running monthly from 7th February.
