Madonna joins Rihanna and Gucci to light UNICEF Snowflake
As the face of 2008's Gucci Campaign to Benefit UNICEF, Rihanna joined Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini in mid-town Manhattan to light the UNICEF Snowflake for this Christmas.
It was then on to Gucci's flagship store on 5th Avenue for a private cocktail party and the opportunity to view Gucci's latest accessories collection - Tattoo Heart - proceeds from which will go to UNICEF.
Some of New York's most stylish stars were among the special guests invited, though it was one very special VIP who secured best dressed last night - Madonna
The material girl arrived to support her friends at Gucci (she hosted a benefit with the fashion house in aid of UNICEF and Raising Malawi last year in New York) looking uber polished in a micro mini feathered dress and iconic, Madonna of the nineties, forties-inspired, shiny-blonde waves.
