And while the fashion house has said the relationship is 'ending on a positive note', Mary Eley has muted that she and Kishimoto are parting company with the French label due to creative differences.
The duo have indicated that their creative vision for the brand may not have been in line with what the company wanted to do with the label as a business, especially through these credit crunched times.
The upcoming spring/summer 09 collection will be the last designed by Eley Kishimoto, who joined the house in 2007 replacing Clements Ribeiro.
