The 160 year old company recently snapped up the BBC costume department, and all that extra stock means they need to have a bit of a clear out. In their first ever sale to the public three huge warehouses crammed full of vintage clothes, jewellery and accessories, from historical pieces to TV and film costumes, as well as historical source books and fashion magazines. Promised to be on offer are costumes from Indiana Jones, Absolutely Fabulous and Dr Who, as well as labels such as Biba, YSL, Jean Muir, Chelsea Girl and more. Discerning fashion fans will be itching to get inside - Angels holds the largest costume collection in Europe and some of the worlds biggest fashion houses use it for inspiration.
Best of all, if you're worried that the prices will be hefty then don't be; none of the pieces will be individually marked. Instead, as you arrive you will be able to buy empty bags (£10 for a medium, £20 for supersized) which you can them cram full will as much product as you can lay your hands on. We can't wait.
The sale will take place on Saturday 6th December at Angels Warehouse, 1st Floor, 3 Boundary Road, East Lane Business Park, Wembley, HA9 7ND. Visit www.angelssale.com for more details.
