Mary Quant gets her own stamp from the Royal Mail

The monochrome stamp, which will be released as part of the set on 13th January, has been designed by Quant and features a model wearing one of her classic 1960s miniskirts and zip up tops.

Other British design classics to be honoured include, the Mini Car, Concorde and The London Underground tube map.

It may be time to start collecting stamps.
