Since his appointment at Banana Republic at the start of this year Kneen has been charged with setting the direction for the entire Banana Republic brand alongside the labels existing heads of menswear and womenswear design.
The Liverpudlian designer has worked in fashion for more than 20 years, previously designing for such diverse labels as Brookes Brothers, another classic American Brand that recently arrived in the UK, and Maison Balmain.
So what can we expect to see in store next season? For spring, Kneen will be building on the Banana Republic brand DNA, focusing on the polished urban work wear aesthetic we have come to know and love from the label that only landed her in the UK in March.
Think the perfect trench, expert tailoring and directional separates to team with next seasons still ubiquitous trousers.
Hes also introduced new fabrics to the design process, that will, say Banana Republic, look uber luxe.
There are also plans to open more Banana Republic stores in the UK this year, but as of yet, where and when are still under wraps.
