The signature Stella collection had an Eighties vibe, and was, by all accounts from the front row, the kind of collection real girls everywhere are going to covert for spring. Cue wearable looks including oversize, off the shoulder knits, sexy tuxedos and spring/summer 09's must-have, the jumpsuit.
But it was the action off the catwalk that almost stole the show. As well as Dino Chapman's multicoloured, children's book backdrop to the runway, Sasha Baron Cohen's Bruno made his second appearance at the International collections. However this time not on the catwalk (which he stormed at Milan) but in the second row. From where he caused quite a commotion - whopping, yelling and jeering at the show.
Cohen is in Paris to continue filming a spoof documentary about the fashion industry with his character Bruno (the German fashionista) as the star. He now has the fashion pack wondering just where will he turn up next? Chanel is at 10.30 am tomorrow morning, he wouldn't dare, would he?
Stella wasn't phased though. She took her bow at the end of the show with a beaming grin. Did she knew he was going to be there?
