Waiting patiently for the show to start, editors found it impossible not to play spot the star as Pamela Anderson (escorted by a man in a white mask) Emma Watson, Erin O'Connor, Myleen Klass, Louise Redknapp, Jamie Winstone, Henry Holland (wearing his new spring/summer 09 collection) Pixie Geldof, Dita Von Teese, Jasmine Guiness and Mischa Barton all took their seats on the front row.
And then, just when the lights went down and the show was about to start, Kate Moss slipped in to her seat on row AA.
So what about the fashion? For next season Ms Westwood's woman is on a 'hot holiday, maybe even in the desert', the shownotes explained. Cue, sitar music, bold gold ethnic jewellery, and Westwood's signature draped, corsetry and tartan worked into surprisingly simple and unfussy summer clothes.
Jodpurs, hareem pants and wide leg sailor pants ticked the box for next season's must-have trousers, while the pretty ruffles we've seen on many catwalks this week were present in the shape of a scallop edged white fabric crafted into dresses and capes.
Kate Moss pointed out more than a few looks that she particularly liked to her friend Fran Cutler sitting next to her, who also let out whoops of excitement as Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung catwalked past them.
