Philip Lim’s romantic meets sporty vision for spring 2009
In keeping with the big themes that have emerged this week in New York, there were plenty of lean, nippy blazers, cropped slouchy trousers and sky-high, Louboutin for Philip Lim stilettos, plus pretty summer prints that were feminine without becoming too girlie. Of course, the stand out look was the now ubiquitous jumpsuit. Lims was fluid and sexy, in dove grey or flowing cream silk, slouchy and tapered at the ankle - it drew gasps of glee from Juliette Lewis and Irina on the front row.
