Last night New York city played host to the biggest party of Fashion Week as native designer Calvin Klein celebrated his 40th year in the business with an anniversary bash at The High Line New Yorks urban living space and park above ground.
Calvin Klein chose the venue an old disused railway line that is being converted into a project for better living and a park - not only because it's a unique space, but also because the project is about regeneration and so too is Calvin Klein.
Continuing the theme, anything used for the party which is recyclable, will be given to charity today, including the plants and flowers which were shipped in especially for the celebrations to create a raised garden where guests could enjoy the warm evening and the wonderful aroma of 5000 white roses.
Singer Estelle sang for the A-list crowd which included Eva Mendes (the face of Calvin Klein fragrence and lingerie), Brooke Sheilds (wearing Calvins of course), Halle Berry, Gossip Girls Leighton Meester, Clare Danes, Naomi Watts, Ashley Olsen, Kevin Bacon, Ethan Hawke and Cynthia Nixon to name just a few.
