The aim of the project is to give stars of the fashion world the opportunity to show off their clothes and the spirit of their label in any way they see fit. Among the line-up of participants are Pierre Hardy, Peter Jensen, Todd Lynn (pictured) and Rodarte. Each designer has produced a film between 30 seconds and three minutes long - and judging from the stills that we've seen each promises to be quite a spectacle.
The project is being masterminded by Nick Knight and produced in association with Hywel Davie's new book, 100 New Fashion Designers. Each of the films will be broadcast on SHOWstudio.com between 18th August and 9th September - and that's not all. There will be a Q&A with each designer involved as well as essays and features by up-and-coming fashion writers inspired by the films and SHOWstudio itself. Plus, if you miss the films online, they will all be shown at Diesel's Bond Street store during London Fashion Week.
