Has Marc Jacobs tied the knot?

Speculation whirled that he would marry his partner of just three months, Brazilian advertising executive Lorenzo Martone, in Paris this weekend followed by a honeymoon in Ibiza.

However the weekend has come and gone and MJ doesn't seem to have tied the knot. Various fashion websites in New York have been investigating just what Marc did get up to this weekend, in order to get to the bottom of the rumour.

According to The Daily he was working at his Louis Vuitton office in Paris this weekend, and the trip to Ibiza is a long standing arrangement Jacobs made months ago to join his friends, the photographers Inez and Vinoodh, there this summer.

Both his press offices have now also confirmed that the designer has not, and will not be getting married. 'They are just rumours,' said the Louis Vuitton press office in Paris. 'Marc did not get married, nor does he have plans to, ' added his New York rep.

As much as we wished it was true, it looks like for now, Marc is still single.
