One label team ELLE have been lusting after is Kara Ross.
One of the designers sold at Browns' fine jewellery room, Kara's stand out designs are the ultimate headline grabbing pieces. A particular favourite for us is the black and gold cuff, customised with diamond studded initials. However, these knock out pieces have often come with a heavyweight price tag - until now. Just in time for one of the new season's biggest catwalk trends - Kara is launching a more affordable diffusion line, Kara by Kara Ross.
The collection was originally commissioned for J.Mendel's spring/summer 2007 New York, catwalk show and was designed with exotic far away places in mind. Think chunky gold and stone cuffs, exotic skins teamed with gems (Kara studied gemology after graduating for Georgetown University) and huge, we-want-them-now cocktail rings, all perfect for accessorising the new season's tailoring and little black dresses.
The collection hits stores at the end of July and our pick of what to invest in is one of these python and gold 'shirt cuffs' which start at just £150. You'll find them at net-a-porter, Browns, Matches, Harvey Nichols and Liberty.
