They are likely to present their new collection in Paris next spring.
Before the relaunch the duo will design a knitwear collection for autumn/winter2008 and also present a new limited edition collection of reworked cashmere pieces during couture week (which starts on Monday in Paris), as part of a collaboration with Karen Nicol - who the designers have worked with throughout their career.
The reworked cashmere pieces will have a vintage feel as well as that signature Clements Riberio look, slightly kooky, kitsch and feminine. "There are Art Deco belt buckles, toy parts, some of the [ornaments] are really bonkers," Ribeiro told WWD. "It goes from the very sophisticated to the very kitsch."
Maybe a hint of what's to come from their mainline collection? It's good to have them back.
