Jonathan Saunders and Nicholas Kirkwood to take over at Pollini

Osbek had been the Creative Director of the label for four years. Jonathan Saunders (pictured) will take over immediately, designing his first collection for spring/summer 09 which will debut in September at Milan fashion week.

Kirkwood, who will also continue to design his own eponymous shoe collection, will head up accessories acting as both design director for shoes and fashion coordinator for handbags.

These two rising stars of British fashion are now truly in ascendance. Last season Jonathan transfered his catwalk show to New York from London, to critical acclaim and financial success and secured himself a coveted spot as one of Target's GO Collection designers (previous guest designers have included Luella Bartley, Proenza Schouler and Temperley) while Kirkwood continues to wow the fashion pack with his designs.

These boys are certainly ones to watch!
