The high street store's now legendary guest designer collections have included collections by Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor and Rolf in the past and for this season it will be Commes des Garcons designs that will have us queuing around the block come November.
"I have always been interested in the balance between creation and business" says Creative director of Comme des Garcons Rei Kawakubo who will design the collection for H&M. Kawakubo's conceptual designs inspire designers across the world and all over the high street and H&M are no exception, " Rei has been at the top of our wish list for a long time" said H&M of their new signing.
H&M will host the world launch of the collection in Rei's native home Japan, at the opening of their second store in Tokyo this autumn.
The collection will consist of womenswear, menswear, some pieces for children, a unisex scent and accessories, and we're sure all of it will sell out fast.
