Amy Winehouse offered £500,000 to play for George Clooney

Rumour has it George Clooney and Julia Roberts have been bombarding Amy with requests to play at this year's Met Ball on May 5th - under the instruction of Giorgio Armani. He's heading up this year's ball committee, along with co-chairs Roberts and Clooney, and has apparently instructed them to offer Amy up to one million dollars (approximately half a million pounds) to play on the night.

As we reported back in October, this year the annual Costume Institute Ball at New York's Metropolitan Museum (the Oscar's of the fashion world) will have a Superheroes theme. With Amy flying so high right now we think a Supergirl costume would suit her nicely.
