Chloe's new designer
Andersson only joined the label in October 2006, after British designer Pheobe Philo quit the job to return to London with her young family.
Andersson had previously spent 7 years designing for Marni, before taking the job.
Rumours were rife before Andersson showed his autumn/winter 08 collection in Paris last week (pictured) that his position at the label was in jepordy as he struggled to find his feet at Chloe.
British designer MacGibbon (a former assistant to Valentino) has worked at Chloe since Pheobe Philo appointed her to her creative team in 2001.
