Henry sent a Scottish fling down his catwalk - this year being commercially minded enough to include cute accessories like sporran handbags and tam-o-shanta hats - there was even a tartan wedding dress for his muse Agyness Deyn. Next, Gareth Pugh did what he always does best with his spectacular (and this season warrior-like) theatrical creations, but the highlight of last night had to be Giles, with a stunning collection of accomplished, signature Giles looks, confirming his love of all things nature, botanical and the sea.
A muted but vibrant autumn colour palette of red, petrol blue, grey, mulberry and sludge green perfectly off-set Giles' fluid creations which featured full skirted dresses, oversize puff sleeves, padded jackets, sequins (an emerging theme for next season) and long gowns adorned with bird like feathered wing spans.
And then there were the shoes, specially created for Giles by Gina - we loved the spiky, sky-high heeled sexiness of these strappy and sparkly sandals.
The collection underlined Giles' place as one of the world's most talented designers, and London's place as the fashion city to come to for headline grabbing shows.
