On Friday night the infamously late Marc Jacobs show drew gasps from the packed crowd as the show opened just 17 minutes late. Victoria Beckham, Selma Blair, and K-Fed (yes really!) all sat back in to their nightclub booths to watch the collection parade on stage (not catwalk) - after MJ himself came out ahead of the models to announce, 'it's going to start, it's going to start!' to a suprised fashion pack - who had been expecting the usual three hour wait. (For the front row pics click here now.)
No such drama at Topshop Unique which has now begun the tradition of opening London Fashion week with a great Sunday tea party and show.
Enjoying the mini Sunday roasts and fish pie Alexa Chung (pictured) Pixie Geldof, Kelly Osbourne and every fashion maven in London (and their daughter's in mini Ugg boots) decended on London's Marylebone for the show: a collection of wearable luxe seperates and headline grabbing python print chiffon dresses.
Then it was off to London Fashion Week HQ at the BFC tents for Jaeger London's first ever on -schedule, catwalk show. The new head of the British Fashion Council Harold Tillman took his seat front row, not only as it was the first day of his new job in charge, but because he also owns Jaeger!
The fun continues this morning with much anticipated shows from PPQ, Felder Felder, Ossie Clark and Louise Goldin to name just a few.
