Mulberry announces new Creative Director

Hill, a graduate of British fashion school Ravensbourne has previously designed accessories for Marc Jacobs, Chloe and more recently launched Marc by Marc Jacobs' accessories and Gap's handbag collection. “I’ve always loved Mulberry and look forward to lending my skills to build on the brand’s exciting recent achievements and secure its position in the international marketplace" said Hill, who is said to be looking forward to returning home to England after working in Paris and New York for so long. She will join Mulberry in time for the spring/summer 09 collections and will have creative control of all aspects of the label. Until then Katie Grand will remain as a consultant to the brand for autumn/winter 08 and spring/summer 09.
