Madonna and Gucci team up for charity

Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini announced today that Madonna will be teaming up with the Italian fashion house during New York fashion week (in February) to celebrate the opening of Gucci's biggest ever store on Manhattan's 5th Avenue.

The two will host a star studded gala evening that will not only fete the world's largest ever Gucci boutique but will also raise money for UNICEF and Madonna's charity Raising Malawi. It promises to be THE fashion week party of New York with a guest list set to include Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, Lucy Lui and Salma Hayek, who will be entertained with a lavish dinner, a guest speker and live music.
