Biba, Mary Quant and Ossie Clark were the labels everyone wanted, but by 1983 Ozzie, married to illustrator Celia Birtwell who still designs their iconic prints for Topshop, went bankrupt and was eventually killed in 1996 by a former lover. But next February, at London Fashion Week the label that fashionista's covet (like Laura Bailey, pictured left wearing vintage Clark) will be back. Resurected by Mark Worth, the founder of Fashion industry newswire WGSN, with designer Avsh Alom Gur at the helm as chief designer. So no more scouring vintage shops for a precious (and expensive) Ossie gem, come next Autumn we can buy back in to the cult brand. We can't wait!
