Oxfam launches first ever online charity shop

Today Oxfam is launching Britain's first ever online charity shop at www.oxfam.org/shop. Expect to find everything from Oxfam's own range of fairtrade products, to donated clothes, household goods, jewellery and vinyl, just like you would find in any Oxfam store. It's all been specially selected by online auction experts from stores around the country, and the beauty is it's all been rummaged through for you, so all you need to do is click to bag your bargains. "Oxfam has pioneered ethical shopping since opening its first shop selling donated items" says Oxfam's Barbara Stocking. And this certainly is an extension of that ethos. “We believe the ethical nature of Oxfam’s shop, the convenience of 24-hour
