Matthew Williamson's other London Collection

So, by now we all know that Matthew Williamson is showing his spring summer 2008 collection in London this season, to celebrate 10 years in the business, but last night he also unveiled a collection in London, which will be displayed at London resturant- come art space, Sketch, for the entire London Fashion week to raise awareness of the work of the Red Cross.

The 'We Speak Fashion' collection was inspired by members of the pubic who, over the past 12 weeks have submitted their own photographs to Canon (the camera people) for Matthew to use as inspiration. Canon made a donation to The Red Cross for each image downloaded and each week one was chosen for Matthew to use while desiging this very special capsule collection. After London the collection will tour Europe as part of the 'We Speak Fashion' campaign to highlight the Red Cross. Matthew has also designed an umbrella for the charity which will go on sale, priced £50 from Saturday at Sketch, Matthew Williamson's Bruton Street store and London Fashion Weekend. We're almost hoping it rains....
