Alber Elbaz feted in New York

The Israeli fashion designer, who, since joining Lanvin in 2001 has given new life, femininity and a unique brand of modernity to the oldest couture label in the world, will be quite rightly honoured on 5 September by magazine editors and celebrity followers. Elbaz himself will address the special guests and show a film of his latest collection. We hear Linda Evangelista and Chloe Sevigny were among some of the first to RSVP to the event, a sure sign of Elbaz's celebrity and industry following.
