A retail spot has been a long time coming for the label which, launched in 1999 by actress Sadie and her best-friend designer Jemima, made an instant impact on the London fashion scene with their quirky, witty designs and won them a rosta of celebrity followers. They were a highlight on the London Fashion Week schedule until recently when they decided to no longer show.
Now the duo have collaborated with award-winning retail design company Brinkworth to create an eclectic quirky store. Located in north Londons Camden Passage, already home to Annies, Kate Moss favourite vintage boutique and a host of antiques shops, it will feature the collection as well as unique accessories displayed amongst furniture attached to the walls, ceiling as well as the shopfloor.
The pair have said of their debut store: Were fiercely proud to be a UK fashion label and Islington seemed the obvious choice for two North London girls. We think weve found the perfect store location and cant wait to make our mark on it.
Furniture on the ceiling? We cant wait to see that.
Frost French will be at 22-26 Camden Passage, London, N1. Call 020 7267 9991 for more details. The Frost French autumn winter collection is available from September.
