Fenn, who shares the role with Mary Homer quit yesterday amid speculation that it is becoming increasingly hard to work for Topshop owner, London businessman, Phillip Green.
It was rumoured last year that Jane Shepherdson (the woman who turned Topshop into the fashion mecca it is today) left because she was finding it hard to work with Green, and that she disagreed with him hiring Kate Moss to design for the high street store. This latest resignation has rekindled the rumours that Green is making his presence felt at Topshop's London H.Q.
Mary Homer will remain in the role of Brand Director and Fenn will not be replaced.
