Is Beth Ditto really New Look's latest celebrity designer?

Sorry to disappoint Beth Ditto fans but the rumour that has been circulating on the fashion grapevine for some time now, that Beth is going to design a range for New Look, is just not true.

It was reported last night that she had even asked Designer of the Year, Giles Deacon, to help her create a collection for the high street. But, speaking to Elleuk.com this morning, New Look said, 'we just don't know where this is coming from'. New Look has officially confirmed that there have been no plans to sign up the star. However, there will be a new delivery of Giles for New Look arriving in stores soon. We'll keep you posted... watch this space.
