Get ready: Kate Bosworths latest collection for Topshop goes on sale today.
Its the third time that Bosworth has designed for the high street brand she inspired a party collection last Christmas and a festival-ready wardrobe in the summer. This time around the 46 pieces have a tougher, more masculine vibe, from the leather shirts to the chiffon shirt dresses. And, once again, Bosworths husband, Michael Polish, has shot the campaign. He also directed the film of Kate rocking the collection.
Speaking to us about the collection for our October issue
, Kate said, I wanted to create luxurious, minimalist pieces. Though different in tone from the more bohemian inspired Spring festival collection, this collection is equally as true an extension of my personal aesthetic. The color scheme is Mondrian inspired - black and whites mixed with cracked metallics and a pop of red. Theres a lot of leather mixed with oversized shearling jackets. I respond to a slim silhouette cloaked in a more masculine shape, staying true to the mix of masculine feminine balance that exists in my own wardrobe.
As for her personal favourites? The cracked silver leather T-shirt worn with the cracked silver graphic pencil skirt. I also love the cracked silver backpack. We couldnt agree more.
The collection is available in store and online today, prices from £35 - £400.
