The designer and ELLE/Cointreau bursary winner has transformed the Light Bar at St Martins Lane Hotel into a stylish speakeasy to coincide with London Fashion Week.
Not that you have to be a fashion editor to attend. The bar is open to the public from 12-22 September and all you have to do to get on the guest list is register here.
Why go? With the same level of care and attention she lavishes on her desirable collections, Rocha has created a hip hideaway that is sure to offer refuge from hectic show schedules. ‘I wanted to create a special, but inviting bar that had a real sense of warmth and fun,’ she tells us.
Setting out to create ‘an indoor rose garden’, Rocha hand painted rose motifs on the walls and filled the space with vintage crystal glassware, mismatched vases and fresh flowers.
Although Rocha wouldn’t be drawn on what we can expect from her spring/summer 2014 collection on Tuesday, she did reveal that Thomas Tait is her one-to-watch this season: ‘Thomas is a good friend of mine. He shows on the same day as me and I’m very much looking forward
