British brand Brora, known for their gorgeous cashmere, have unveiled their second-ever designer collaboration today, exclusively on ELLEuk.com.
They have teamed up with London designer Michael van der Ham, who put together a range of twelve pieces of pleasingly patchwork-like knitwear. It will launch in store and online on the 29 October next Monday.
Michael said of the collection, I started with stitches, all different types and weights, so I could mix them within the pieces and the range. I love that with knits you can control every detail from the core fibre on. It was fun to mix lace stitches with heavier moss stitches.
Brora's founder and creative director Victoria Stapleton said, 'Working with Michael has been extremely refreshing. He has such a great eye for detail and his very elegant, feminine touch resonates through all the pieces he has designed for our collaboration. He loves a quirky twist and this unique collection with Brora certainly brings out all his creative genius.
The brand described the capsule collection of cropped cardigans, fitted jumpers, sweater dresses, gloves and hats - as an exquisite medley of colour, delicate fabric combinations and contemporary design.
Prices start at £60 and its landing in stores just in time for the cold snap.More
