Graduate Fashion Week has just turned 21. The annual celebration of emerging design talentthe first platform for current megastars like Christopher Bailey and Stella McCartneyhas a suitably sophisticated programme for its most grown-up year yet.
More than 1,000 students from over 40 universities are participating in this years event, taking place at Earls Court from this Sunday 10 June to Wednesday the 13th. Expect 20 catwalk shows, exhibitions, live photo shoots, a blogger bar, designer Q&As and a special presence from ELLE.
For the first time, were applying our editorial eye to a pop-up shop filled with fresh design talent. Were stocking our shelves with designs from Famous for Fifteen, studding specialists who will customise denim pieces on site, and The Great Menagerie, a pop-up vintage clothing and art store.
Along with all the fashion, well sell our #BeckhamELLE issue and the spring summer 2012 edition of ELLE Collections at special GFW prices. And our roving street style photographer will be there to catch all the best looks in and around the shows. Catch us on site on Sunday and Wednesday.
