Catwalk preview: Vivienne Westwood Red Label
'This new Red Label collection started with an imaginary journey through land and time,' the design team told us. 'We pictured a woman who collects elements from her travels. She travelled through the African continent taking with her the Masai body prints which has been translated into glittered jacquard, knits and hand drawn mud prints.
'From the Northern Island she took the tartans, blanket tweeds, and Moon lambs wool. This journey also takes her back a hundred years to the Edwardian era with masculine Teddy Boys inspired tailoring.'
