As if the New York-based wünderkind, who's famed for his easy, urban aesthetic, isn't busy enough with the creative directorship of Balenciaga in addition to his namesake label, he's now pulling together both men's and women's collections of clothing and accessories for a one-off high street hit.
Wang's Insta-reveal was promptly followed by a celebration at Coachella during which the designer posed for pictures with H&M creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch, against the brand name Alexander Wang x H&M.
'I am honoured to be a part of H&Ms designer collaborations,' he said. 'The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity.
'This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.'
Added van den Bosch: 'Alexander Wang is one of the most important voices in fashion today. He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion thats infectious. It feels incredible to be collaborating with him this year.'
