Broadly hewing to the same template as previous H&M designer launches, the How to Shop rules state that the first 280 people queuing at any store will receive colour-coded wristbands splitting them into groups of 20. These groups will receive 10 minutes to shop, in order of arrival, with a five-minute pause between entries.
Crucially, the retailer also plans to limit the number of items each shopper is allowed to buy. Aspiring Versace for H&M owners can purchase just one of each garment or accessory.
Although this measure means that anyone hoping to purchase multiple sizes instead of wasting precious shopping minutes queuing for the fitting room is out of luck, it is presumably intended to curtail eBay reselling.
Making sure that shoppers leave the store with only the garments they intend to wear means that more Versace fans will have a chance to pick up a piece of the collection. And isnt this all about accessibility?
A seven-day return period applies, and the one-piece-per-customer rule applies online.
