Karl Lagerfeld has signed a license with Fossil Inc to create watches for his new eponymous label.
The news follows the announcement earlier this week that Lagerfeld will launch a mass apparel collection called Karl and a premium signature line called Karl Lagerfeld Paris.
The Karl apparel collection will launch via Net-a-porter and karllagerfeld.com in spring 2012. His Fossil collection is expected to launch in spring 2013, WWD reported.
It is essential for us to work with the best license partners in each segmentthat is why we are happy to partner up with Fossil, Karl Lagerfeld President Pier Paolo Righi told the paper.
