Was Kenzo the coolest show at PFW?

Curiosity drew attendees to the Kenzo presentation on Sunday, but clever tactics by new creative leaders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim gave editors et al reasons to smile.

The Opening Ceremony entrepreneurs roped in friends and collaborators on and off the runway for their first Paris fashion week outing. On was Chloe Sevigny, whose designs for Opening Ceremony have been embraced by the likes of Alexa Chung. She modeled a cobalt blue silk jumpsuit and a new brunette do.

Off the catwalk, Bored to Death star Jason Schwartzman wrote the show soundtrack (it sampled Girls Just Want to Have Fun) and played the drums during the presentation. Filmmaker Spike Jonze played video games with Julez, Solange Knowless six-year-old son. As for Knowles? She stayed away from the games, but played DJ at the after-party.
