Princess Charlene of Monaco sat front row at Akris's show at Paris fashion week, a fitting coup for a show that had the Monaco Grand Prix of 1966 as inspiration. How easy would it be to shoehorn a gag about getaway cars in here now...?
Designer Albert Kriemler has been dressing Princess Charlene quite a bit recently and she wore it to William and Kate's wedding in April. So with the Principality firmly on his radar, the spring summer show focussed on stills from footage of the legendary race, beautifully screen-printed on to shift dresses and one cuff of pyjama trousers. A fresh, breezy collection worthy of a Monarch.
