Clothes aside, a DSquared2 show is always an event - stark white catwalks simply don't cut it for Dean and Dan - and the s/s 2012 outing was no exception.
The duo transformed the space into a music festival, with a VW camper van, cheering boys and waving flags at the top of the runway. And what a runway. It was made from dried out earth and half way through the show sprinklers running down each side of it were turned on for that authentic festival feel. The models strode down through mud, swinging beer bottles and splattering the front row as they went.
As for the clothes, all the festival essentials were there; tiny hotpants in sequins or denim with scarves hanging from the belt loops, fringed leather jackets and studded waistcoats, draped American flag t-shirts, high heeled welly-style boots and long socks and tiered, colourful cotton skirts. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff perhaps but a whole lot of fun. The models certainly looked as though they had a whale of a time.More
