Runway review: Max Mara

According to the press release the Max Mara design team looked to the desert for their spring inspiration, so sandy shades, highlighted by white, black and mint green, were the order of the day.

Camel-coloured bomber jackets, sporty duster coats, cocoon dresses and long tunics with elbow-length sleeves were all paired with skin-tight Capri pants. Dresses with knitted tops and leather skirts were seemingly held together with gold staples around their dropped waists and the same detailing cropped up on cropped leather jackets too.

Hoops of mint, white and camel were stacked up on the skinniest of shift dresses and jumpsuitsyoud better start hitting the gym now if you plan to wear them next spring. And there were pencil skirts aplentyit seems theyll be sticking around in a big way for another season.
