Mark gets Faster to New York

Mark Fast presented his Faster diffusion line in New York on Saturday night. Its like Wolford on acid, he said of the new mini-dresses, loose-knit sweaters and fringed suck-it-in skirts.

The designer dialled down the toughness of his signature body-con knits by showing the styles in a rainbow of sherbet hues. The peach, mint and lavender palette softened the skin-tight, fishnet-panelled shapes.

Fasts first outing across the Atlantic came courtesy of Aldo. The shoe brand is home to a new capsule shoe collection by Fast and sponsored the Milk Studios presentation.

Showing in New York wasnt the only change for Fast. It was also the rare outing in which his model cast didn't include any curvier girls, the casting of whom has become a trademark of the designers London shows. What would Beyoncé say?
