The annual festival of Caribbean culture saw more than 70 floats accompanied by hundreds of drummers and dancers wind their way down Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Grove.
Europes biggest street party remained a peaceful if raucous affair, with 6,500 police officers presiding over the party.
The fashion was nearly as loud as the sound-systems dotting the neighbourhood. Carnival-goers treated the occasion as an excuse for exuberance, with fringed ponchos, ikat prints and eye-popping brights in abundance.
Attendees in need of stylish respite made way for Diesels party in a hired townhouse, where mojitos and rum punch fuelled the likes of Gareth Pugh, Nick Grimshaw and Jaime Winstone. After that, it was on to Bumpkin for more DJ sets at the Wrangler event.
