Designs from buzzed-about London names including William Tempest, Ada Zanditon and Beatrice Boyle will sit alongside one-off pieces from recent womenswear, footwear and accessories graduates.
I wanted to be part of the store to help shine a light on the amazing amount of talent that LCF produces, not only in design but also in photography, illustration and footwear, Tempest told us. The designer, whose fashionable vision has been embraced by Emma Watson, Kate Moss and Alexa Chung, contributed a biker jacket and a coat made out of floral tapestry fabric of his own design.
Retail and show space is hard to find for designers who are just starting out, so the store will help to help give the designers the platform to showcase their work.
Prices will range from £20 to more than £400. In keeping with the boutique gallery setting, each piece will be signed by the designer and issued with a statement of authenticity.
The shop, located just off Carnaby Street in Londons Kingly Court, will run for two and a half weeks from Friday 9 September.
