Marchesa joins the show circuit

Ticket requests at the ready: Marchesa is planning to stage a full-scale fashion show for the first time during the upcoming show season.

The red-carpet brand of choice has, until now, showcased its work in presentations. Models wearing frothy and fantastical creations pose like living sculptures (or faint, like people asked to stand still for too long) on pedestals dotted around the Chelsea Arts Museum in New York.

But ELLE US spotted a tweet from stylist Tabitha Simmons spilling the news last week. Simmons said, Now going to see the Marchesa collection! Cant wait as they are having a show this season. I will keep you posted.

Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig are nothing if not discreet, so were not sure they intended for Simmons to break the news. Well keep an eye on the New York Fashion Week schedule, still TBC, and share more details soon.

We know this much, though: between Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, Rachel McAdams, Hailee Steinfeld, Nicole Richie and reams of other Marchesa fans, this will be a front row to watch.
