It was a week that saw us swimming in rain and model news. On Monday, we reported that Anja Rubik got married in a custom Pucci dress (mullet alert!), and that Miranda Kerr described her decision to endure a 27-hour labour without pain drugs as crazy.

Then we were privileged to meet Carmen DellOrefice, even more charming and elegant than we imagine she must have been when she began her fashion career in 1945. And we found out what breaking into the fashion industry was like for Helena Christensen: One second, I was a teenager with a bad perm; the next, Im in the desert, with a horse, with this incredible team of people, and I end up on the cover of Vogue, she told us.
