Second-generation rock royalty (and former ELLE cover star) Georgia May Jagger was today unveiled as Thomas Sabo’s 2014 brand ambassador – and so was her first campaign for the label.

Shot by Ellen Von Unwerth in London, the edgy campaign for the jewellery label’s new Karma collection kicks off Sabo and Jagger’s fashion collaboration for spring/summer 2014.

Asked at the launch – which was held at London’s Café Royal – what she thought her karma would be like, Jagger laughed. ‘I hope it would be good,’ she said. ‘I’m all about positivity.’

The Karma collection is based around the ‘wheel of Karma’, which is said to symbolise balance and inner piece; Jagger selected a piece of hand jewellery with a ring linked to a charm bracelet by the design as her favourite piece.

But she also admitted in a candid chat with ELLE that, back in the day, it was a necklace that had her heart.

‘My sister Jade’s always made jewellery and in the 90s, she made these beaded chokers that I used to be, like, oh my God,’ she said. ‘I used to want to be like Gwen Stefani when I was younger, so when she gave me one of those, I felt more like Gwen Stefani. Even though I was probably, like, seven.’
