Apparently, the New Yorks Mayor Bloomberg is partial to a bit of the Armani jazz so much so, that he has officially decreed today Day.
The impressive recognition stems from the Italian designers longstanding relationship with the city of New York, for supporting the fund for public schools and contributing to the economy, were told.
Tonight, Armani will take his One Night Only show, which has most recently been held in Rome and Beijing, to the Big Apple.
Says Armani: In such a special day for me, it is a great honour to receive this recognition, which reaffirms a strong personal and professional bond with New York, a city that has given me and continues giving me so much.
