The supermodel has spoken frequently of her concern for the plight of the planet, but now she's taken matters into her own animated hands with a cartoon for aol which sees her combating environmental crises with a team of enthusiastic young women/eco vigilantes. They operate from a high tech eco-base, conveniently located at the back of a boutique they run.
Aimed at very young children, the series doesn't pull any punches with its conservation message. In the first episode, cartoon Gisele takes on the Machiavellian 'Nick Slick,' and his dastardly forestry logging campaign; in the second the target is toxic waste.
"I wanted to find ways to educate kids and adults about a subject very important to me, and what should be to them – saving the planet," Gisele said this week.
