When is a fashion cupboard not a fashion cupboard? When it’s the #ELLEfashioncupboard, of course.

The glass-walled hub of our new 360 office has had a Christmas makeover, courtesy of the brilliant creative minds at Harrods – the next step in a host of exciting collaborations between ELLE and some of the world’s biggest and best brands.

Our bespoke Christmas windows feature mannequins, disco balls and pink neon tube lights, along with with the message, ‘Tis the season to have one ELLE of a good time! With best wishes for a Merry Christmas, Team ELLE.’

Says ELLE editor in chief Lorraine Candy, ‘Which other magazine in the world could have Christmas windows in the office?

‘I am delighted Harrods were innovative and playful enough to create these fashion windows for us in our ELLE fashion cupboard this season. Our interactive fashion cupboard is the heart and soul of the office around which we hotdesk, so who better to help us celebrate Christmas than Harrods?

‘Once the Harrods Christmas windows are up you know Santa is on his way and we wanted to recreate that feeling at ELLE with a fashion first.’

A fashion first of many – stay tuned, because there’s a lot more #ELLEfashioncupboard coming your way. And, trust us, you’re going to love it.

Comments Simon Hampton, head of fashion VM at Harrods: 'This is the first time we have had an opportunity to design a window for a magazine. We were delighted to be given VIP access to the elusive 'fashion cupboard' to work our creative magic to design and install the first window for the new ELLE Fashion Cupboard, with a touch of Harrods Christmas sparkle. The design is inspired by our recently launched contemporary women's Fashion Lab on the 4th Floor and the hot pink featured on the January edition of ELLE.'
